Designer: The Stella Collective // Photographer: Peter Clarke // Project Overview: Memocorp’s new office, at 259 George Street is the first commercial fit out for The Stella Collective. The office space, which is over 1000 square meters is located on the top floor of the building and has some of the most beautiful views across Sydney. With large windows around the parameter, the office is not only surrounded by stunning vistas, but is also flooded in natural light and sunshine, adding a warmth to the space. The office actually looks nothing like a commercial office, it has more of a domestic, feminine feel. “Memocorp office represents a throwing out of the design rules of the past in corporate life to re-interpret the way we interact with our work place. There are defined areas to eat, work, play and unwind, yet all feels connected,” said the design company. “Light flows from room use, large steel framed glazing replacing the typical ‘shutting off of meeting rooms’, creating light-filled and joyous spaces, whilst also allowing the chance to have privacy when required,” shares The Stella Collective.
