Design: Plus Architecture / Photography: Shannon McGrath / The lighting for Plus Studio complements the industrial aesthetic of the interior. The use of suspended track lighting accentuates the look and feel of being in a gallery rather than a traditional office space. The decision to utilise suspended track lighting throughout the space also meant that the original exposed ceiling details could be kept, adding to the interior's workshop style. As the large open spaces within the studio are multi-purpose, track lighting gives Plus Architecture the freedom and flexibility to adjust the lighting to accommodate their spatial requirements. Trackspots in combination with linear track fixtures are installed along the suspended track throughout the studio. The trackspots provide targeted illumination, while the linear fixtures provide general and indirect illumination, increasing the overall brightness of the studio.
